RobotLab Has Arrived!
This morning our fulfillment partner informed us that they have received our pallets from AdMagic. GREAT SCOTT!
Here's what happens now:
1 - Final Address Updates
We locked down pledges a while back. However, if you have moved since then and you want to update your address you have 48 hours to do so. You should be receiving a message from BackerKit soon instructing you on how to do that and including the address information we currently have on file for you.
2 - Shipping GO!
We will begin shipping within 7-10 days from today! We'll post another update as we get confirmation of the estimated arrival dates once it leaves our warehouse but in general it looks like this:
Thanks for your support and GET READY TO BUILD SOME ROBOTS!

GenCon was great. Lots of people played RobotLab. New Projects had great feedback - including the RobotLab Expansions.
Shipping will start End of September / Beginning of October. US Backers delivery by Mid-October. International delivery dates TBD.
Be on the lookout for a future message that includes information about updating your shipping address / delivery method.
If you're a retailer or distributor that is interested in carrying RobotLab for the Holiday / Christmas Season this year: Let us know! We have retail pricing and advance production copies for you to check out. Message us through Kickstarter OR shoot us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org
Now - On with the show:
GenCon was a HUGE SUCCESS!
Not only did a bunch of new people get to try out RobotLab in PERSON but the XYZ Game Labs Super Secret Playtest gave us a bunch of important new data about the games we have in development. The RobotLab Expansions need some tweaking but they definitely ratchet up both the strategic depth AND the player interaction.
Here are some photos from the events!
This is what 20 copies of RobotLab: The Card Game looks like! We received these advanced copies last week and will be using them when talking to distributors and retail.
Speaking of which: If you or someone you know wants to carry RobotLab just shoot us an email at email@example.com
That's great - When do I get my copy?
According to our manufacturer we should be receiving the game in Mid-September (sometime between the 15th and the 20th)
We will start shipping those within 2 weeks from that date. Which means: We're shipping at the end of September / Beginning of October!*
*As long as everything clears customs without any issues and the shipment arrives on time.
For those backers in the US: You should receive your game(s) by mid-October at the latest.
For those backers in other country: Timing will vary but we will get an estimate for you in a future update.
So, What Happens Now?
If you need to modify your shipping address: In the next two weeks we'll be sending out an update letting you know how to do that.
If you want to pickup in person because you are from Chicagoland: We'll also be releasing details about that in the next update.
If you don't care about either of the items above: Then just sit back and relax.
That's it for this update. Thanks again and let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

HEY KICKSTARTER FRIENDS!
If you’re going to GenCon this year, we have some awesome announcements for you!
But first, if you aren't going to GenCon then here is what you'll care about: As mentioned previously our production run has been approved and now we're just awaiting a final delivery date to our warehouse so we can lock in our shipping date to you.
Speaking of locking in dates; there are two items we want you to know about:
About two weeks before we start shipping we'll give everyone a chance to update their address just in case you've moved or decide you want it sent somewhere else.
If you're local to Chicago, IL; We'll be reaching out to everyone with a Chicagoland address and giving you a chance to get your game a bit earlier than our mass shipping. We'll have a few in-person pickup events happening throughout Chicagoland in October.
On FRIDAY ONLY we will be hosting a very special event: The XYZ Game Labs Super Secret Playtest! At this event we'll be previewing 3 BRAND NEW projects. You folks right here are about to be the FIRST PEOPLE to know what those projects are. But SHHH! They're a secret ;-)Here is a link to get tickets!
Project Zero - RobotLab Expansions!
That's right: We're working on two expansions to RobotLab. They are called "Power Up!" and "Sabotage". Here's a preview of a card from each one.
Project Argon - YarnBomb!
This is a new resource management, milestone and trade row game where the goal is to knit the most projects. If you like trade rows, knitting, or competing with other players for the same milestones and resources: Then this game is for you. Here's a preview!
Project Barium - UNTITLED
This is a new 10 minute strategy based 2-player game. The goal: Be the first to score 5 points. How? Gain advantage on your opponent and then either hit them with a decisive blow OR outlast them! Here's a preview!
3. Find us get FREE STUFF!
We’ll be there in bright orange RobotLab t-shirts! Come find us, talk to us, and grab an exclusive #GenCon50 RobotLab ribbon! Get them before we run out!
Since we love free stuff and we know you do too, follow us on social media for chance to win more free stuff! We’ll be posting social media challenges throughout GenCon for a chance to win a free RobotLab t-shirt. Follow us below!

Bet you think we forgot about you don't ya? Well, we didn't! Truth is we didn't have much new stuff to talk about.
So, any update before today would have been some version of:Things are still happening. We're still waiting for the final production copy. If you're at Gen Con in August then be sure to check out our events!
But instead of that you get THIS!
That is a full fledged production quality copy of RobotLab! As of today we have given our final approval for AdMagic to produce the whole print run. EUREKA!
We don't have a final ship date yet - But as soon as we do: We'll let ya know!
Here are some more pics in case you aren't already excited.
Quick Status Report

Just time for a quick review of the month!
Since our last update at the end of April we've been patiently moving towards the next big milestone: Physical Proofs.
At this point we are at the mercy of the production company. As soon as we receive our production proof package we'll be sure to share the progress with all of you.
In the meantime we wanted to be sure to let you all know: If you purchased any additional items when filling out your survey we will be processing payments for those items in the next few days.
While we anxiously await it's arrival we have a few other things up our sleeves...
Last week we were fortunate enough to run a game demo room at Anime Central (ACEN) in Chicago! Over the course of 4 days we played over 100 hours of RobotLab with more than 300 people.
Here's a couple of pictures from the event!
Our room was in the long gaming hallway (We were giving away candy, cause who doesn't love free candy).
It was a great time and we met some great people!
But that's not the only convention news we have...
We're going to GEN CON!
On Thursday, Friday and Saturday we'll be hosting Official Previews of RobotLab at Gen Con 50! You can find all the RobotLab Events at this link. Currently there are still tickets available - but since they just went on sale a few days ago I wouldn't expect that to last. (Plus - attending this event will give you a sneak preview of the future of RobotLab!)
